Armour is positioned between the inner tube and the tyre. It offers 15mm of extra protection under the tread and 2-5mm on the sides of the tyre. Armour increases puncture protection, reduces maintenance and increases comfort.
Find out your sizeWe have been using it for years and it is the best balance between driving sensitivity, smoothness and wheel protection!
Tannus is fantastic because you have the security of protecting the rim but at the same time you have a natural ride that no insert can give you.
It helped us offer the E-Bike experience without any worries about punctures and damage to the rim.

Do you have any questions? We are here to help you.
The size of Tannus Armour corresponds exactly to the size of the tire on which they are applied.
Example: Do you have a 29x2.20 tire? The Armour that's right for you is 29x1.95-2.50
We recommend not using Tannus Armour with a tubeless setup. Using the inner tube eliminates the burp effect, drastically reduces direct punctures and lateral cutting and increases ease of use.
They were designed for mountain bikes, Enduro, DH and gravel but are also perfect for city bikes and cycle touring but in general at low pressures.
Although compatible, we do not recommend Tannus Armour in an exclusively road setup due to the high pressures of use. On racing bikes we instead recommend Tannus Airless
No, the insert is designed to be used exclusively with an inner tube.
Be careful to clean the tire and rim well from any sealant residues in the event of a setup change from Tubeless to inner tube
The choice of pressure is personal. We suggest to inflate approximately 0.1-0.5 atm less than the pressure previously used.
ATTENTION: do not go below 0.8 Atm (risk of pinching) and avoid inflating beyond 3 atm to avoid excessive compression of the material
The best performing and fastest solid tire in history.
